The New Leader is a director of energy. They know how to direct energy, they are in control because they are conscious of energy and take a lead in directing the flow of energy. True control comes from directing the flow of energies. They know when to speak and when not to speak, when to wait and when to move forward.
Through the eyes of the new leader a team forms a whole with every member of the team offering a certain gift, a view, an experience and passion that no one else in the team can offer. They know that their team begin to thrive with the acknowledgment of each team member as an integral part. They know that they are leading a team of equals that ask to be guided for a while until each knows how to lead themselves.
The new leader responds instead of reacting.
There is no blame or pressure involved. The New Leader is a leader in the first place because they know themselves. They are their own leader and because of that they can lead others. They know when they are leading from a place of false control and ego by being a constant observer of their thoughts and actions. They have the ability to internally shift from false control to the conscious (re)directing of energy that benefits the entire team even before the arising false control was applied. The New Leader is also a human so if ever their actions or words reflect blame or a wrong vs. right approach, they are authentic and 'human' enough to articulate to the team what they realized happened.
Since they have learned how to lead themselves the intent of their leadership is to create leaders. They know that a team is the strongest when their way of leading bears the fruit of empowered individuals who at one point can be their own leaders. The new leader is not interested in being followed. Their outermost wish is to create equal players that can all play on the same playing field. They know that there is no evolution and growth for both parties within the traditional leader-follow relationship. The New Leader leads from their gut and heart level that they acknowledge above all. They are honest yet respectful in his words.
The New Leader communicates in a way that is never imposing
or overwriting the innate ability of each team member to know how to organically move and what to do next. They merely guide and nudge each team member along the way. They know how to create a win-win environment where everyone feels safe to share and speak up and be themselves because they know people don't feel encouraged to speak freely and authentically when they feel judged or criticized. Therefore, the speech of a leader is not dominated by what to do and how to do things. Instead they ask their people what they think would be a good next move. They use descriptive language. Always speaking from a point of neutrality, as they understand energy, The understanding of the fact that in truth there is no wrong or right way of doing things or not only one way of doing things is reflected in their speech. The new leader seeks to understand first and then to be understood.
The foundation of their leadership is their deep understanding that the human mind is very limited in nature and that no growth and solutions can be achieved when it is involved. And it is because of this understanding that they have learnt to recognize mind-modified energy dynamics. And once recognized they consciously moves the restricted flow of energy back to a natural flow through their words and actions.
